Ledgra

Ledgra is an accounting package for small businesses — the everyday essentials, without the weight of a full accounting suite. Everything is built around a proper double-entry ledger: transactions come in by spreadsheet import, are reconciled against the ledger, and the reports, VAT returns, and invoices are all derived from it rather than kept separately.

The ledger is append-only. Posted entries are never edited or deleted — corrections are reversing entries, so the audit trail stays intact. Money is held as integer minor units throughout, so the numbers a business relies on don’t drift.

Built by ventive.ai as a multi-tenant platform: every organisation gets its own isolated books, spreadsheet imports and outbound email run as background work so the app stays responsive, and new customers provision themselves from the marketing site.
